My name is Simon. I spent my life identified as an artist and designer. I've learned in my career that these occupational identifiers mean different things to different people and in different fields. After being laid off from a popular video game company, I realized that above it all, I wanted to make things better.

What Is Fuck Yeah, Friday?
During a recent life transition and inspired by Robert Glazer's "Friday Forward," I decided to begin writing more to document my thoughts, develop my writing "voice," and to hold myself accountable in my journey for self-improvement. In this transition, I learned that after distilling my thoughts, I loved sharing it with others. My goal is to see the world through an honest lens on taboo topics and personal failures, all in the name of becoming the best version of myself. If it gives people a place to not feel so alone on the sad stuff and also happy from the juicy stuff, that's great too! Posts will be distributed each Friday morning.
